Bissell Quicksteamer 2080 Ratings

86.5  The Bissell Quicksteamer 2080 is an inexpensive carpet cleaner (100USD or so) that gets good ratings.  It is quite light (about 12 lbs) and easy to maneuver as a result, but it is not a heavy-duty machine and is probably best for medium to lightweight carpet cleaning.

This carpet cleaner is powered by a 4 amp motor and the power cord is a little short at 20 feet.   It has an 8.5 inch cleaning path and uses a dual water tank cleaning approach.  The clean water and solution tank is 0.5 gallons which is a little small and a number of consumers indicate that they would have liked a larger tank.  The dirty water tank can be easily removed and emptied.

There are some comments that the rollerbrush is not as effective as it could be (and thus getting deep-down dirt may be a little compromised).  The Bissell 2080 carries a one-year limited warranty.
