82.4 The Bissell Momentum Cyclonic Upright Vacuum gets varied reviews - some good, some not so good. Many consumers have indicated that this machine has excellent suction, however there are some comments indicating that it is loud and that it is not particularly good for bare floors. A review of consumer comments indicates the following common 82G71 likes and dislikes. PROS CONS The Bissell 82G71 uses cyclonic suction (like a Dyson) and it comes with an indicator that tells you when the filter needs to be cleaned. It is powered by a 12 amp motor. It also has HEPA level filtration. HEPA filtration (or High Efficiency Particulate Air filtration) removes allergens from the air and is a practical feature for those suffering from asthma or allergies. A brushbar helps to lift and remove dirt from carpets but the brushbar cannot be turned off and this can be an issue when cleaning some bare floors (the brushbar can mar some flooring). The vacuum head also has 7 different height settings (manual) which help to optimize vacuuming for different surfaces. The Bissell Momentum comes with several attachments and tools including an extension wand, a crevice tool, a combination dusting and upholstery tool as well as a Turbobrush. A headlight is also included with the 82G71. The cleaning path of the Bissell 82G71 is 15 inches (fairly wide) and it comes with a very lengthy 35 foot power cord. This vacuum cleaner weighs some 18 lbs (considered heavy by several consumers) and it carries a 3 year warranty.
