Check out the Bissell Spotbot Pet on Amazon.

This is a portable spot and stain cleaner and it is lightweight and comes with a carrying handle.  It can be operated both manually and in automatic mode.  A control panel on top of the machine allows one to choose the type of stain when using automatic mode.  The two stain options include:

1) Surface Stain – this is used when the stain is mostly on the surface of the carpet (typically a recent stain).  This cycle last for 3 minutes.

2) Set-in Stain – this is used when the stain has been in the carpet for some time and has “set-in”.  This cycle lasts for 6 minutes.

In automatic mode the Spotbot Pet will choose the correct amount of cleaning solution (depending on the stain option chosen) and apply it via the Deep Reach Technology nozzles which inject the cleaning solution into the carpet.  Spinning brushes help release the stain and the suction nozzles pull up the dirt and grime.

The control panel also allows the user to engage Manual/Hose mode.  In this mode one can use the 5 foot stretch hose that has a cleaning tool on the end.  Both the hose and the tool are stored conveniently on the SpotBot.  The cleaning tool has a 3 inch diameter cleaning brush and also comes with a cleaning solution spray trigger that releases the solution into the carpet.   Bissell indicates that the tool is useful for cleaning stairs, vehicles and upholstery.

There are also pause/resume and stop buttons on the control panel as well as status indicator lights that tell you where you are in the automatic cleaning cycle (spray/brush/suction/finish).

The Spotbot Pet has a clean-water & solution tank as well as a dirty water tank.  The clean-water & solution tank is easily detached from the unit and can be filled with Bissell 2X compact formula (for stains like dirt, oil, pet accidents) or a combination of Bissell 2X compact formula and Oxy GEN2 formula for handling dye based stains like coffee, wine, cola, etc.  There is also a dirty water tank that holds the suctioned up dirty water and this tank is easily removed, emptied and reattached.

The Bissell Spotbot Pet has a 16 foot power cord and is UL listed.  It also carries a 1-year warranty.  Trial size bottles of the two cleaning solutions are included.
