Owners report that the vacuum has very powerful suction and is easy to assemble.  It also has washable filters, an effective pet hair tool, several different height settings and a headlight.  Some owners feel that the hose is a little short however and that the vacuum is a bit loud.

This is an upright, bagless vacuum cleaner that uses cyclonic suction. It is powered by a 12 amp motor and has an easy-to-empty dirt canister that is bottom-empty. The machine is HEPA capable which ensures that 99.97% of all particles (0.3 microns or larger) are removed from the air passing through the unit. The HEPA filter on the Dirt Devil UD70095 is also washable – a popular feature. In addition, the vacuum comes with a carbon filter that helps to alleviate pet odors.

A series of tools are provided and these include a foot-long crevice tool and a 16-inch extension wand as well as two electrostatic tools: a turbo tool and a dusting brush.  The “electrostatic” feature helps to attract pet hair to the tool so it can quickly be vacuumed up. The turbo tool has an air-driven brushroll that helps to remove and pull up dirt and pet hair.  It is useful for cleaning stairs and upholstery.
 
The power cord on the Dirt Devil Power Reach is 24 feet and there are owner comments both indicating that the cord is quite long and that the cord is too short.  24 feet is probably a little shorter than average for an upright.  The unit also has manual height adjustment to allow one to set the nozzle to an optimal cleaning height from the floor surface.  There are 5 height settings.

The vacuum has a 14-inch wide cleaning path and weighs some 16.5 lbs.  These are both about average for an upright.  The Dirt Devil Power Reach (UD70095) carries a 3-year warranty.
