65.9 The Dyson DC16 Root 6 Handheld Vacuum Cleaner does not get particularly good consumer ratings - unlike most Dyson uprights and canisters. The Dyson DC16 is a powerful handheld vacuum producing 36 air watts of power and it comes with a combination accessory tool and a crevice tool. It is also reasonably light at 3.3 lbs. The area of contention with this machine however is the battery life - consumers feel it is far too short (about 5 minutes or so).
