87.1 Consumers like the Hoover BH50015 Handheld vacuum (although consumer ratings are limited). This appears to be a good handheld vacuum but it is not cheap. The Hoover BH50015 uses 18 volt Lithium Ion batteries which produce "fade-free" power (as opposed to the Ni-CD battery). This handheld recharges in about 3 hours and is ENERGY STAR rated. There is no HEPA filtration in this bagless handheld but most handhelds (with a few exceptions) do not have HEPA filtration. It is also lightweight at under 3.5 lbs. It comes with a built in combination brush and crevice tool. Like others in the Hoover Platinum collection (the full name of this vacuum is the "Hoover Handheld BH50015 Platinum Collection LINX Cordless Vacuum") it has a fairly long 6 year warranty.
