90.0 The Hoover Linx stick vacuum is sometimes referred to as the BH50010 (It's model number). It is cordless and gets very good consumer ratings. The full name for the BH50010 is the Hoover Platinum Collection Linx Cordless Stick Vacuum. Like most stick vacuums it is bagless and it is also quite light - at 7.3 lbs. It uses Lithium Ion batteries which ensure that power doesn't fade as the battery discharges - a full charge lasts about 15 to 20 minutes. The more common Ni-CD batteries tend to have power fade. It uses Hoover's windtunnel technology and has rotating brushrolls that are helpful in picking up dirt and dust from carpets. This vacuum comes with a respectably long warranty of 6 years. There is no HEPA filtration but many smaller vacuums (sticks and handhelds) do not have HEPA filtration. A quick review of the consumer ratings below indicates significant consumer satisfaction. The following table shows consumer ratings for the Hoover Linx (BH50010) stick vacuum cleaner:
