This is a bagged upright vacuum. It is quite lightweight at about 8.5 lbs and it also comes with a HEPA filter. It also comes with a dustbrush but unfortunately you cannot turn the brushbar off. The warranty is short at 1 year but this is typically the case with a vacuum that is less than 100 dollars. Ratings are very good for a machine as inexpensive as this Hoover.
