81.8 The Hoover U5491900 Windtunnel vacuum gets respectable consumer ratings and is another Hoover upright that is not too expensive - usually around 150USD. Like many uprights at this time the Hoover U5491900 has a 12 amp motor. It is also a bagged machine. Bagged vacuums do require one to purchase bags but they make disposal of the dirt and debris easier (many consumers - but not all - have experienced frustration with emptying the dust canister of a bagless vacuum). This vacuum also has HEPA filtration which is good for allergy and/or asthma sufferers. The power cord of the Hoover U5491900 is 31 feet in length and the vacuum has 5 height adjustments which help to accomodate many different surface types. As with a number of other Hoovers this unit also has a headlight and it comes with an on-board tool-set. it carries a one-year warranty.
