Hoover UH70120 Vacuum Ratings

77.9 The Hoover UH70120 upright bagless vacuum gets average consumer ratings.  There are other Hoover uprights with better scores.  Some folks like this vacuum but there are a number of comments related to the belt breaking and suction problems.

The UH70120 is marketed as lightweight.  It weighs 16.5 lbs – this is perhaps on the light side for a full size upright but not particularly so.  It is powered by a 12 amp motor and it uses Hoover’s patented WindTunnel technology.  There are 5 different heights in which the nozzle can be set catering to different surfaces, and the nozzle has a 13.5 inch wide cleaning path.

The power cord on the Hoover UH70120 is 27 feet in length (a reasonable length) and retractable (a nice feature according to a number of consumers).   The vacuum also comes with an 8 foot flexible hose and a number of tools including a powered hand tool, a crevice tool, an extension wand and a combination dusting brush / upholstery tool.  The brushsroll on the UH70120 is motorized.

The main filter on this vacuum is washable and there is also a lifetime HEPA filter to help reduce allergens in the air.  The UH70120 carries a 2 year parts and labor warranty.
