93.5  The Hoover Windtunnel MAX upright is getting reviews that place it in the “excellent” range - but it should be noted that this new machine only has about 15 consumer reviews/ratings at this time.  It has a brushbar that can be turned on or off, HEPA filtration, a long 30 foot power cord and a 15 inch wide cleaning path – all good features.  This unit is also not terribly expensive at about $180. Downsides according to owners include the weight and the lack of an automatic cord rewind.

82.3  The Hoover FloorMate FH40010B is an interesting idea that some consumers like and others don’t.  This is a 3-in-1 cleaning machine and it vacuums, washes and dries hard surface floors like tile, vinyl, and sealed hardwood.  In general, ratings for this unit are quite good with many owners indicating they like the cleaning capability of the machine as well as the ease of use.  However some folks feel that it doesn’t vacuum well and that it has to be moved very slowly for effective scrubbing and washing.

81.7  Consumer ratings for the Hoover SH40060 place it in the lower end of the “good” range.  This is a bagless, canister vacuum with a powered nozzle and HEPA filtration.  Many owners are impressed with the suction and also the reasonable price of the machine but quite a few feel the power cord is too short and some have resorted to adding an extension cord.

79.6  Consumer ratings for the Hoover Pet Rewind UH70210 are not bad but not stellar.  It is a bagless vacuum and is designed for houses with pets (it comes with 2 specialized pet hair tools).  Owners like the auto-cord rewind, the attachments and the washable filters, however there are some that feel the dirt canister is problematic and the hose is a little short.   It should be noted that some owners really like this machine and there are a number of very good ratings but frequent low ratings ultimately drag the overall score down.

96.2 The Hoover SH20030 corded stick vacuum is getting very good reviews – at least on Amazon.  It doesn’t seem to appear much on other retail sites.  The Hoover SH20030 is corded so this removes one of the biggest complaints with many stick vacuums, namely the short battery life.  Consumers like the fact that it has strong suction, is lightweight, and is not too loud.  It is also not overly expensive.

77.9 The Hoover UH70120 upright bagless vacuum gets average consumer ratings.  There are other Hoover uprights with better scores.  Some folks like this vacuum but there are a number of comments related to the belt breaking and suction problems.

88.9  This is a highly rated machine that purportedly is a very effective canister vacuum (although ratings are limited).  Consumers like the fact that it is stylish and has a very long 6-year warranty, however some find it heavy.  A review of comments indicates that this machine is best for larger cleaning jobs and may be “too much” for smaller cleaning spaces.  Also of note is that Consumers Digest has considered the S3865 as a Best Buy.

71.1  Customer ratings for the Hoover S3670 canister vacuum vary widely – from poor to excellent.  You either hate or love this machine.  The S3670 bagged canister uses Hoover’s WindTunnel Technology, comes with a number or attachments and is HEPA capable.

73.0  The Hoover F7452900 Steam Vac does not get particularly good reviews from consumers.  There are a large number of comments indicating that it is not well constructed and that items break.  There are some that feel it does a good job but it ratings are dragged down by the significant number of consumers who are unhappy with the quality of the units construction.

77.0  This is the new version of the Hoover 5507-900 Elite Rewind.  The new model # is the Hoover 5509-900.  It is a bagless upright with HEPA filtration.  It is reasonably inexpensive and has rather few bells & whistles.  Consumer ratings are average.

93.1  The Hoover Commercial Portapower vacuum cleaner get top notch ratings from consumers.  It is also not too expensive and is incredibly light (just over 8lbs).  It does not have a rotating brushbar however so it's effectiveness on carpets is limited.

90.2  The Hoover F5914-900 SteamVac Carpet Cleaner sells at many outlets and as such there are thousands of consumer ratings.  Hoover appears to have done their homework with this carpet cleaner as it gets excellent consumer ratings and can be found for under 150USD at several outlets.

81.4  The Hoover S1120 Handheld Vacuum is an inexpensive unit and it is used for cleaning up both wet and dry messes.

86.3  A popular carpet cleaner (sometimes called a steam vacuum) that gets good ratings.  As part of the Hoover Platinum series it also comes with a long warranty.

90.1  The Hoover UH70015 Vacuum is another Platinum Series Hoover.  It gets great consumer ratings and comes with a long warranty.

87.1  Consumers like the Hoover BH50015 Handheld vacuum (although consumer ratings are limited).  This appears to be a good handheld vacuum but it is not cheap.

71.6  The Hoover S2200 Flair is a stick vacuum.  It is relatively inexpensive and designed for small vacuuming jobs.

80.9  The Hoover U5786-900 is part of the Hoover Anniversary vacuum series (Hoover U5786900 Windtunnel Anniversary Vacuum Cleaner) and ratings vary.  It is a bagless upright with HEPA filtration.

81.8  The Hoover U5491900 Windtunnel vacuum gets respectable consumer ratings and is another Hoover upright that is not too expensive - usually around 150USD.
