83.4  Consumer ratings on the LG Kompressor LuV300B vacuum cleaner are good, yielding about 83 out of a possible score of 100.   Folks really like the extra long power cord, the dust compression system (called Kompressor Dust Compression System) and the fact that it is very quiet.  But some feel the machine is a little heavy.

The LuV300B has a motorized compression system that uses a rotating wiper blade within the dust canister to compress the debris.  This approach allows much more material to be held in the canister before emptying is required.  It also creates a “cake” of dust/dirt that is easily disposed of.  One might be tempted to think of this as a “gimmick” but consumers seem to feel otherwise and like the technology.

Like many vacuums today the LG Kompressor comes with HEPA filtration, and like a Dyson, the filters are washable.  It is certified asthma and allergy friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.  Also, this vacuum is powered by a 12 amp motor, uses cyclonic suction and is thus bagless.  It sports a very long 40 foot power cord which is appreciated by most consumers, and combined with the 15 foot hose it has an incredibly long reach.
