86.2 Consumer comments on the LG Kompressor LuV400T are mostly very good – not exclusively but mostly.  Owners report that the machine has fantastic suction, is relatively quiet and is also easy to empty.  Consumers also like the very long power cord and the ability of the vacuum to pull up pet hair.  However some people find the unit a little heavy.

The LG Kompressor LuV400T is a bagless upright that is powered by a 12 amp motor.  The vacuum has two filters – a pre-motor filter and HEPA filtration.  HEPA filtration removes dust mite feces, pet dander, ragweed and many other allergens from the air.  The HEPA filer is washable which saves money over time as new filters do not need to be purchased when the filter is dirty.  The LG LuV400T is also certified by the Asthma and Allergy foundation of America.

The power cord is 40 feet in length which is very long for a residential vacuum.  Several owners have commented favourably on the long power cord indicating that the machine can be moved from room to room without constant unplugging and re-plugging.   The aluminum wand and stretch hose also provide an additional 15 feet of cleaning reach. 

The LG Kompressor LuV400T has RF controls on the handle/wand.  The controls allow one to turn the vacuum on and off, turn the brushbar on and off and also adjust the vacuum cleaner suction.  When using the wand the operator may not be near the main vacuum unit and RF controls allow him/her to adjust vacuum settings remotely.

The “Kompressor” part of the vacuum name refers to the machine’s dust canister which contains a blade that sweeps back and forth compressing the dust and debris into a cake-like mass.  Owners comment that the cake is easy to dispose of and that it limits the amount of dust that escapes into the air during emptying.  LG claim that the Kompressor technology also allows the canister to carry up to 3 times more dirt than a canister without the technology.

The vacuum also comes with several tools:

- Crevice tool
- 2 in 1 upholstery and dusting tool

There are many more features on the LG LuV400T including an LED headlight, foot operated height adjustment and motor overload protection.  The vacuum has a cleaning width of 14.5 inches and it weighs a rather hefty 22 lbs - the vacuum weight is one of the few areas in which owners sometimes comment upon unfavourably. The LG Kompressor LuV400T also carries a 5-year parts and labor warranty.
