92.4 Consumer ratings are very good for the Panasonic MC-CG301 canister vacuum. Although it should be said that this vacuum is very inexpensive and expectations are likely not as high as they would be with a more costly machine. The MC-CG301 is very lightweight and compact and owners report that suction is good. This machine does have an air-driven brushroll however and as a result is only average on carpet. |

88.1 This Panasonic canister vacuum fared very well in recent Consumer Reports testing and also sells well on Amazon. Consumer ratings are quite good and owners like the sturdy construction, quality tools and light weight of the vacuum, although comments regarding the fact that the headlight turns off in “Floor” mode and that the tools do not “click” into place are common.

88.0 Panasonic’s new bagless cyclone vacuum gets good consumer ratings but there few at this time. It uses cyclonic suction (like Dyson and a number of other vacuums). This approach “spins” the debris out of the airflow and ensures limited loss of suction over time and also cleaner filters. |

78.4 The Panasonic MCUG471 is a bagged upright that gets average consumer ratings. It has several good features including auto-height adjustment and HEPA filtration but it is quite heavy and is best for carpet (and less effective on bare floors). |
