88.0 Panasonic’s new bagless cyclone vacuum gets good consumer ratings but there few at this time. It uses cyclonic suction (like Dyson and a number of other vacuums). This approach “spins” the debris out of the airflow and ensures limited loss of suction over time and also cleaner filters. A review of consumer comments has shown the following common vacuum pros and cons: PROS CONS Features The MC-UL915 comes with a number of tools including a pet air turbine brush and floor brush, combo dusting and upholstery tool, and crevice tool. There is also an aluminum extension wand and a 12 foot stretch hose. The vacuum is marketed by Panasonic as pet-friendly presumably because of the pet air turbine brush. COnsumer have indicated that the pet turbine brush does do a good job ov picking up pet hair. This Panasonic upright also has a dirt sensor. This device uses an infrared beam to track particles entering the vacuum cleaner. The light changes from red to green when an area is clean. Several consumers have raved about this feature. The MC-UL915 also has a headlight. This unit has a brushbar that can be turned on and off. This feature ensures effective transition from carpet to bare floors (and vice versa). The power cord on the Panasonic MC-UL915 Jetspin Cyclone upright vacuum cleaner is 35 feet in length. This is a good length – not too short. It also sports a fairly wide cleaning path of 14 inches. The vacuum weighs a somewhat hefty 20 lbs and carries a 1 year warranty. The following table shows consumer ratings for the Panasonic MC-UL915 vacuum cleaner:
